Ivy Black Trading Pty Ltd ("Ivy Black") provides security training at 23 Mill Road, Hillcrest. You can contact us at ivyblacktrading@yahoo.com or 071 285 2021.
What we collect
When you apply or enquire, we collect names, identity or passport numbers, contact details, PSIRA registration details, supporting documents (such as a certified ID copy, PSIRA registration and proof of payment), payment references, and training, attendance and assessment records.
Why we use it
We use this information to assess applications, confirm payments, enrol learners, allocate training dates, record attendance and results, submit results to PSIRA, handle appeals and cancellations, and send notices about your application, payment or training session.
Who we share it with
We share information only where needed to deliver training and assessment — for example with PSIRA for result approval, and with service providers that process payments or send emails on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Records are kept for 5 years from the date of enrolment. After that they are reviewed for secure deletion. Records are not deleted automatically.
Security
Documents are stored privately and are only accessible to authorised Ivy Black staff.
Your rights
You may ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting Miguel and Navika at ivyblacktrading@yahoo.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
