How it works
From application to PSIRA-approved result
Every learner follows the same process. Ivy Black reviews each application, allocates training dates and records results — nothing in the process happens automatically.

Stage 01 - Step 2
Stage 02 Apply and upload documents
Submit an application online as an individual or on behalf of a company, and attach the supporting documents you have available.

Stage 03 Ivy Black reviews eligibility
Our team checks your documents and eligibility, and comes back to you if anything further is needed. Submitting an application does not confirm a place.
- Step 4
Stage 04 Full payment confirmed
Once your application is approved, payment is arranged and confirmed by our team before training is scheduled.
- Step 5
Stage 05 Ivy Black allocates your training date
Training dates are allocated by Ivy Black. Learners do not book their own dates.
- Step 6
Stage 06 Attend training and assessment
Training takes place in person at our Hillcrest academy, where attendance and completion are recorded.
- Step 7
Stage 07 Result and PSIRA approval
Assessments are marked by Ivy Black and submitted to PSIRA. Your result is final only once PSIRA approval is received — there is no fixed turnaround time.
